PSLab Lighting Design - Beirut
This company has many forward thinking concepts as seen here in these lights! besides the fact that i want this lighting throughout my house… they are so out of the normal cognated concept of lighting. PSLab is a Beirut-based experimental lighting firm operating out of a warehouse near the city’s port. The denim showroom for a store in Istanbul (pictured below) illustrates this fluid...

This is really a cool idea… I can think of at least 20 things (off the top of my head) to do with rolls of tape like this… and that is really just the start of it, huh?! makes you wanna get out there and stick it to something!
Energy Jar Concept
This is a great idea that won some awards at a energy conscious design competition. The idea is that you are guilted into seeing how much juice is used, thus more likely to shut it down… which i have to admit, is a pretty interesting concept since most people waste it since they aren’t really attuned to what it is that they are using. bravo mr smart guy/gal
Great Graffiti Concept
This is a great idea using the striped crosswalk as a background to whatever you want…. not necessarily sold on the pattern bit that is displayed here, but really think there are all sorts of possible fruitions of this. Plus it eats at my love for using something that exists and expanding on it.
Rubber Ducky
This is truly a grand concept… for the tortured souls out there. One of the best things is that it says something like “be sure what you are doing, you only get one use” it is such a dark and marvelous concept for the rare few, indeed!

why is it that every house has the same ugly radiator in it that is partially invisibly until you put your hand on it losing 1-2 layers of skin. This is great, except that there isn’t many options besides the blue red design… though it doesn’t bother me as much as it does my coworker… great design, great concept
Cool Portable Speakers
pretty cool speakers for your ipod… walkman, tape deck or 8 track - when on the move for under 30 bones, it isn’t all that bad… and from what it looks like, you can split them off from the center piece and dance around like a raver who wouldn’t like that?
